woah, did I miss that? was she one of the ones trapped in the Songpoon Dept. Store collapse???

That was the word, and that she had said she was covered in scars from it. The absence of visible scars in the photos are leading some to disbelieve her on this point.

This woman is impressive... she rubbed elbows with Korea's elite, made art curation fashionable again, and conned an entire bureaucracy.

While her actions only perpetuate the "Koreans are sneaky" stereotype, her savvy and unbridled ambition is indeed remarkable.

I am all for Korean women trying to make money too. I paid one 100 000 last night for some wonderful services. Shocked I support all Korea women who are trying to make money.

My lady tells me that the lady we're talking about was on a mere 2.4 million won per month salary, yet she drove around in an expensive car, and was known to many by the nickname, "The Armani Princess" or something to that effect (sorry, I forgot the real name). She gave gifts to everyone, and always made huge cash-only purchases.

Koreans can only guess where the cash was coming from -- for now.

Sounds like a teacher's salary. Maybe she gave some very artistic "private lessons" to a few gov't dudes? Laughing

It is not important how she makes money if she is hard worker. You should give good tip if you want to be clean for your wife. They care about the family very much, so we do not anger to them.
