1. Where is the proof of your assertions about Muslims in Singapore being restricted from promotion?

2. Where is the proof of your assertions about Muslims in Singpaore being monitored in all of their Internet activity?

Where is your proof for what you say? Shall we have a proof war? I've started, you're next.

Quote:
Singapore Malays have complained that there are relatively few top-ranking Malay military officers, and that Malays are sometimes denied sensitive positions in the armed forces.

Lee prompted alarm among Malays nearly two years ago when he said that total integration in the Singaporean military must be carried out slowly and cautiously.

"If, for instance, you put in a Malay officer who's very religious and who has family ties in Malaysia in charge of a machine-gun unit, that's a very tricky business," Lee said in a 1999 talk at a Singapore university.

Muslim Malays make up about 14 percent of Singapore's population of 3.2 million. They are the majority in neighboring Malaysia, whose relations with Singapore are sometimes strained. Muslims are also the vast majority in nearby Indonesia, where minority Chinese have in recent years been brutalized in racial and religious riots.

You can't reason with these leftists. They think there is no connection between Islam and these terrorists. They believe it is the US's fault that they are blowing up civilians. The scary thing is that they believe that these Islamofascits will leave everyone alone if we just give them what they want.

Example of a Liberal's mind:

18 year old male shoots and kills store clerk in a robbery.

Mind of a Liberal:
Its not the young boy's fault. Its society's fault for pushing him to commit crime. It's the gun maker's fault for making the gun.

You have yet to prove the assertions you made in the first place. I have shown that there are Muslims who serve honorably in a non-Muslim majority country's armed forces. Your dancing around this issue shows me that you really don't have any proof. You also said that no Muslims could be promoted to high office. Your quote above shows that is a false assertion, even though it's a cite from six years ago referencing a comment made eight years ago.

The other poster accusing me of being a Leftist is, well, quite hilarious.

You are really trying to dance around the issue here, eh? You showed that some muslims serve, and I showed that some throw grenades at their fellow soldiers. Now what?

You said I mischaracterize islam, but provide no counterclaims, or specifics, at all. Then just fall into the typical multicult pattern of topic changing and distractions.

1) Singaporeans government leaders, including LKY, have openly stated that muslims will likely not be given guns during any war.
2) The Singaporean military is fully run by Chinese. Malays are structurally prevented from attaining high levels of power. Chinese are drafted largely into the army/AF/Navy and muslims into the "civil defense", which is riot police and all-purpose volunteers.
3) Singapore is a total police state. This, because of the massive terrorist and muslim threat.

1,2,3 are all fully correct. If you want to pretend otherwise, that is fine.

Isn't it the other way around? The non-liberals are always blaming Islam, or race, or the downfall of societal values.

Are "liberals" and "leftists" the same? I consider myself very liberal but not at all leftist.

Sadly, almost nobody defends liberal values anymore. The left worships the alter of "diversity" and dogmatic multiculturalism and many on the right/conservative (in American nomenclature) are simply xenophobic for the sake of xenophobic.

The leftists Quee.rs for Palestine about sums it up for me.

("qu.eer" is a swear?)

Prove it.

You have already proven that there are some Malays in high levels.

Oh, please. First, Singapore is not a total police state. That dubious honor would go to the DPRK. Secondly, what proof do you have that Singapore's current level of government monitoring of its citizenry is based upon the number of Muslims in the country? And I ask you again to provide proof or your assertion that the Singaporean government is monitoring 100% of its Malay and Muslim citizens' Internet activty (an impossible proposition, by the way).

1) How many times do I have to provide the same quote for you. Jesus. H. Christ you are dense.
2) Go look at the names of the Chinese men that run all levels of the Singaporean military. It is all public information. Look how far down you have to go to find a muslim. I know it to be true because it is a major issue here that is always being talked about.
3) Singapore is under the emergency law. You can be arrested for being in groups of 3 people or more. There is no free speech in any way. The police are almost always undercover, creating a feeling of never being unwatched. No protests are permitted, and those that happen are quickly ended. The Singaporean state can arrest and detain you for any reason for any length of time. If you aren't muslim, this will never happen to you.

The Singaporeans like to call people like you the "naive ang moh". Head in the sand.

I like the way they do things here. There is fully no crime to speak of because the punishments are so unreasonable.
