Come out Saturday, if you can make it...7:30 @Big Rock

We are going to discuss the 5on5 flag football league and try to get it up and running so we can start games by the months end.

It's not to late to sign up and join us--you just need 5 for a team, and it's COED too. It should be fun times.

Look to see you all out.

Just easier to field a team that way...

More guys expressed that they were able to field 5 guys, and any more would make it a bit more difficult. Plus, more action, more involvement, faster paced...

Should be good times.

Are you only going to have co-ed teams? Will there be single sex only teams as well?

If you want...

We just floated the idea of having coed because some girls had expressed interest in playing--i'm not sure how many teams will actually have girls on them. I know that we never thought of playing specific COED rules...regular rules, and if you happen to have girls on your team...then whatever. Its all for fun, right?

I have no problem playing with girls, I have had great times playing co-ed sports, but for flag football, things can get physical at times with men's teams.

What about playing a touch league if it is co-ed?

I' ve heard of a college coed league that awarded 9 points for a TD scored by a female player as opposed to 6 for male players. Oughtta keep the ladies from being sidelined.
