|
|
Hello all,
I am planning a Japan visa run in a few weeks and I wonder if anyone can offer any advice on how simple it is, what to expect, what to look out for, etc. I am a bit nervous, as my sense of adventure and direction are lacking at this time. I will be leaving Bundang early in the morning, and don't know how to get to the airport and then to the passport office upon arrival in Japan (I am still in Canada). If anyone could relay their experiences on this particular trip I would really appreciate it. Thanks. |

Where in Japan are you going? Do a search, there's lots of good info already posted... |

Maybe it's because I am new at this, but...I couldn't figure out the search option. I went to search and typed in Japan Visa Run and up popped the 2000 most recent posts of any topic. That is why I came here. I feel like a dummy. |

Take out the word run. Or, flip through this forum and the Job Discussion forum, check the back pages. It'll take some time, but you're bound to find something. |

Relax.
Assuming it's Osaka it's a cakewalk.
And everyday there are dozens of foreigners doing the same thing, many who've done it before. Just follow the pack and you'll be fine.
Hardest part's getting to the airport in time for the 10.00 ish flight. You've gotta get up pretty early. Should be nice and cold...
Try and get your boss to spring for a hotel in Japan and stay the night. |
