Last night my Korean reporter friend called and said he wants to write a piece on slogans/mottos that foreigners think are bad, silly or nonsense. The one he had, "Happy Birthday, (Company Name), wasn't that bad. He asked me for examples and I could only come up with the two in the title.
In my opinion, Hub of Asia doesn't fit because it makes grammatical sense.
Are there others? |

Just focus on the Korea Sparkling, it's atrocious. |

You are friends with a Korean reporter? I bet you have mates in the Sudanese and Burmese Juntas as well. |

There's a clothes shop in Myeong-Dong (I believe its part of a chain) called "There's.....Spin your stuff!" |

the one that annoys me to no end is instead of "Grand Opening" everywhere you go, it's "Grand Open". there's "Happy Suwon" but i think you would find most city slogans either grammatically incorrect and/or lame. |

"Follow your H" (not counting the non-sensicality of the phrase, in Japan, "H" refers to being a perv)
"It's Daejeon!" (it's a shit slogan!)
EDIT: How could any of us not put "Be the Reds!" on this list?

Sure, grammatical sense, but not logical sense. It's ridiculous to think Korea is a hub of ANYTHING. Not like you need them, but how many examples you want?

Not quite a slogan, but the name of Doosan's apartment complex..."We've" is absolutely retarded.
Dare to be the Purple is also pretty bad. |

And the highly amusing follow up, "Again dream". |

In many department stores, the young men's section is called the "Dandy Club." ... on second thought maybe that one is a good fit. |

Reds Go Together! Go where exactly?
Plus, why do they insist on calling themselves the Reds? I bought the Korea footy top last year, and it's clearly salmon pink. |
