I agree, the header is extremely annoying. Seems like people can't make an esl/efl resource without pasting their name and face all over it.

| My only problem with it is that I have to scroll down every time I open a forum or thread. Other than that, having color at the top of an otherwise drab forum is nice. |

Actually I think it's talk like a pirate day.
As for the banner itself I am fine with it, but it really needs to be smaller. On my screen it takes up about 1/3 of the screen. |

Some people have griped about the text being reduced to a painfully small size. That I notice absolutely no difference whatsoever suggests to me that I've been reading at this allegedly-newly-reduced size all along. I sometimes strain ever so slightly to read at this size, but I'm pretty much acclimated to it now. And so it's rather heartening in a way to hear other posters suddenly pissing & moaning about the "new" painfully small text size. Assures me that my eyesight is in fact not worsening. Your yelps of pain are a pleasure to me. Yay!
But the massive banner at the top, takes up half a page? Christ, that's gotta go. |
