Darn, and I just bought a portable DVD player before coming back here.

Hey, if it's not region-free, you can probably make it so. Mine is a Magnavox, and I found a code for it online. Some crafty guy recognized that it was just some cheaper Chinese brand re-badged as a Magnavox, and that all of the cheat codes worked for it, too.

it's $60 brand new at walmart and looks like there isn't a hack to make it region free so the best I can offer is 20,000

really? wow, i wish i had known they sell these at emart, much less anywhere else in Korea... i looked all over the place here and couldnt find one... so i bought this one from Best Buy in my last trip home. If you can get a new one anywhere in Korea for under 100, I think you're better off doing that.
