Nanji-jigu, Seoul.

Much appreciated. Starts at 3pm, some pre-K1 rock and beer, nice.

Nanji is an island in the western Han gang close to Hapjeong/World Cup Stadium. Used to be a dump, now a park; they've had raves there before.

http://www.ssamziesoundfestival.com/

They have a really ugly website and it's all in Korean. I'll translate the directions later when I have some time.

It's at the same location as the World DJ Fest back in June. It's called "Nanji Campground" in English (or as was mentioned nanji jigu in Korean)

Thanks ginormasaurus that would be appreciated. Not because I'm some ignorant, lazy, non-hangeul learning git, but my computer is fecked and won't support Korean Fonts (believe me I've tried, and tried....).

Mostly, I'm trying to find out what times bands start at, to see if I can see Vassline (don't laugh) before this K1 thingymabob.

They seem pretty low on the bill. Anyone have any idea?

Those bands that are playing are THE BEST Korean bands you'll probably hear. No joke. 15,000 for 2 tickets.

If you want to hear good Korean music that isn't K-Pop, it's worth it. And if you don't enjoy it, you only lost the equivalent of one Hoegaarden.

Do you mean cover bands? I see a few that I know aren't cover bands, so for the typically low ticket price you can't complain too much.

spliff, go stick your typing finger back in your arse where it belongs.

this is going to be a fun event, even if you just go to get drunk and listen to halfass bands who aren't as good as ten western bands who are already ripping off another band.

go. it's cheap, there's tons of friendly people and booze. don't let a douchebag killjoy like spliff deter you.
