Coming from the south of Seoul, what's the best way to get there? I will be taking the subway, so the name of the closest subway station will be great. I would also like to know the exit number and where to go after I exit. Thank you

Get off your lazy ass and hike up the damn thing. It's not that far. Look for the tall tower and head towards it.

Well, actually my 75 year old parents will be with me, so that's the main reason I want to take the cable car. Can anyone give more specific directions?

I'll make it up to you:

You can come to Hoehyundong platform on foot from Exit 3 of the Myongdong Station of Subway Line 3 via Pacific Hotel. Taxi can also take you here from Myongdong in five minutes with basic fare (₩ 1,300)

Next time, try using Google. It really works.

In that case, I'd suggest taking a taxi up from Myeong Dong Station to the cable car. It's a steep hike any direction you attack it from.

Or take the bus from Chungmuro Station, 500won per person. Takes 10mins?
The cable car is 7000won each, which is the same price to go up the actual tower thing.. ends up being rather pricey!
