Books and music media (CDs and cassettes) by slimy, low-life sociopaths who promised to "return them as soon as I'm finished..."

Oh, and a couple of imported DVDs as well... Rot in Hades, scum...

The mp3 control unit from my scooter, my helmet from the back, all under the nose of the "security" guard at my officetel. Apparently, it was late and he didn't want to wake me up to tell me that my alarm was going off. Evil or Very Mad

If it wasn't for the disk lock on the front wheel, they probably would have made off with the whole thing.

Well, if we're counting stuff like that, then Korean Customs can lick my nuts for "confiscating" my Director's Cut Ring Trilogy. They wouldn't let me send it back and wouldn't let it through, but they also were not going to destroy them in front of me. "You have to trust us. We are the government." Laughing Very f***ing funny. Like I'm gonna trust you to not take them home for your own private library? So... I took the boxcutter they had on the table and vvvvp, vvvvp, vvvvp... NOW no one can have them. The customs guy was not happy at all I had done it, so I guess I was right about him.

I've had my laptop, gold earrings and a gold necklace stolen from my apartment in Korea.

At work anything remotely sparkly, edible or unusual in or on my desk manages to disappear as soon as I acquire it.

Koreans don't steal. Usually.

I had some clothes (including 2 brand new pairs of jeans, 120.000W each) stolen last week off the washing line. It was in a neighborhood with lots of foreigners though. Other time I had some nice designer sunglasses taken from Itaewon. 99% sure it was all by foreigners.

Funny this thread should be brought up. I think somebody has been stealing my mail for the past week. I have no idea why. It's just MART flyers and my monthly bills.

Can't keep an umbrella in this city. It makes perfect sense. A very necessary instrument, but too petty of a theft to do anything about it.

This happened to me for the first year I was living in my Seoul apartment. Rather than fight the thief, I just got a post office biox and re-routed all mail there. No problems since.

I lost my scooter from in front of my billa. I had a real hard time understanding that it was gone.....for a few days I thought I had got on the turps and left it at a pub somewhere...then I kept looking at the spot where it was, hoping by some weirdity it would come back!
