I know that PS schools seem to operate with a high degree of autonomy, but can anyone tell me (roughly) when term ends and starts over here.

Would I be right in thinking that term ends in Feb and restarts around March? Also, how much time do other PS teachers get off. I've heard that a few of you get as much as about 4-weeks, but this must be the exception rather than the norm right?

Term ends in December. Starts again late February, early March. Mid July is the end of the first semester with a return in late August.

So basically

Late February/Early March - Mid July
Late August/Early September - End of December
