Hi there
i was wandering about what to do about my trip to Thailand. I have no international card. So Will have to take money out of bank before i get to Thailand. However should i take won to Tahilnad and then change. Or should i exchange my money into dollars and then change to baht. I just not sure if if i will get good exchange rate if i try and change won in Thailand. I would love to hear from you

Do NOT take won to Thailand.
Buy some Baht here to get you through your first day and take dollars (or EUROs if you don't trust dollars) for the rest .
(a few $100 bills don't take much space in a hidden pocket).

And don't be overly concerned about the rate over a few thousand dollars. The difference is peanuts. |

I'd tend to agree. Especially in bangkok at their quasi-black market areas, but again....I think the difference is sooo slight (under 10k USD) that it doesn't really matter. maybe 500 baht at the most. Of course, I have been wrong before. |

Go to Super rich, its a money exchanging place in bangkok, its the best currency conversion for won anywhere.I just sent the wife back with 10,000,000 won in cash to get it converted, i got 36 baht for every 1000 won.
very good deal |

Is that the Petchburi road black market money changer?
Where the Mercs pull up and the paper bags are handed out to a man who runs in and runs back out with another bag. |
