Does anyone know how the Korean MBA schools rank among schools from the USA? What is their reputation?

For example, how does an MBA from Seoul National or Yonsei compare to an MBA from say.....NYU? Obviously, they don't compare to IVY league MBA programs, but would like to know where they stand.

I hear the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology MBA program is well known. Does anyone have any info?

You'll have to think on what you will use the MBA for before enrolling with a university in Korea. If your just for looking for a nice job in the US that concentrates its business in the US, it will probably be a waste. Many businesses in the US are ignorant of degrees granted outside the US and may hesitate hiring you. However, if you want to work for an organization that does alot of business in Asia, it may come in handy.

I've heard some good feedback regarding the Sejong-Syracuse Global MBA program.

As an extension of MBA programs, I'm often curious how all of the many international this-and-that masters programs are pereived outside of Korea as well..

Compared to schools in the United States, Korean MBA programs aren't even in the same league...not even close! If you can get into a top 50 school in the United States, you should definitely do this over getting an MBA in Korea. If you are interested in an MBA program outside of the United States, Europe and Canada also have their fair share of excellent programs. Check out the Financial Times business education section for more details. To be fair, there are some pretty good MBA programs in Asia. Check out this link for more information.

Cheers,
Kirk

There's a serious credibility gap in pretty much all Korean graduate studies (one reason why so many Korean profs get their higher degrees abroad?), so I'd recommend a program that is jointly run with a foreign university. If not, it might not be worth much outside of Korea.

Actually, KAIST has put together a very reputable program. I have had some US bankers tell me that the students who come out of that program are much better prepared for their jobs than any US grads.

However, it should be mentioned that these bankers were dealing with a specific type of risk analysis that takes a fair amount of math skills.
