WTF... You don't have to eat every freaking Korean food. Even I as a Korean don't eat everything especially some live octupus.
Most real Korean diet consist of healthy side of things. like....
Kimchiguk (Kimchi soup)
Kimchi ghighe with no meat. (everyone should know this)
DdanJjang Ghighe. (korean version of miso soup)
Gochujang ghighe (Made with all veges and shrooms)
Soon Dooboo (soft tofu soup)
Bibimbop (mixed with vegetables and gochujjang and egg and sometimes meat)
Nangmyun (Cold Korean noodles served over veges and sometimes few pieces of Galbi)
Kimchi bokumbop (Fried with kimchi and rice)
Kimchi mixed noodles (cold noodles mixed with kimchi and gochujjang)
Soo Jae bbi (hot home made noodle type with veges like Kalguksoo)
Kal guksoo (hot thin noodles with potatoes, some other type of green veges)
Ppa Guk (green onion soup over egg)
Booguaguk (dried cuttle fish soup)
Miyukguk (seeweed based soup) you eat this usually on your b-day because it makes you look younger
Oooeee muchin guksoo (cucumber mixed with gochujang and noodles)
kkong namul guk (bean sprout soup)
kong guksoo (soybean made into ice cold milk shake with noodles)
Most ghighe and soups are served with white and wheat rice mixed together or some other healthy rice.
Samgyupsal galbi? Koreans only eat this when they need the extra muscle.
Now most of these dishes have less than 5 grams of fat or less or no fat at all. I dare you where can you find hardy meals that consist of such low fat and healthy foods like tofu and vegetables that taste good?
Duk boki is fast food and for kids.
Jjajangmyun is fast food.
Ramyun? This is fast food for Korean.
Bbundagghi? Most people don't even eat this on a regular diet or don't eat it at all.
Boshintang? Most people don't eat this crap.

I'll give Korean food thumbs up for being healthy. That's about it. I almost never feel full after a Korean meal, the spices are pretty generic, nothing "exciting", all in all, just bland. Some stuff will grow on you, but definitely not much to write about.
Eyeball poster has some good points, even if they're not so well wrapped up.
Perhaps all posters should stop hating those with different opinions. It's only food for chrissake |

| I frankly do like Dak Galbi, Galbi, Sogogee Dapap, and the occasional kimchee, but I can't say that Korean food is one of my favourite international cuisines since it is not. I would take Thai food over it any day of the week. I also do like Japanese food a lot more. Sometimes, actually, Korean food bothers my stomach in the worst way, so I only eat it in small doses. I want some more mild Korean foods that don't have that Gochuchung. I don't like it as much as I like say Mexican salsa. |

I eat American food and it bothers my stomach in a bad way. All that oil infested lard heavy or that yucky cheese you put it in all your food. YUCK.
Dairy products can't be too good for you.
Most Korean diet consist of Vegan or vege qualities. American diet does not work for Asians. There has been studies that Asian women are high risk of breast cancer eating western foods. |

Link? (I'll ignore your first-grade grammar because I'm actually curious about the gender-specific science you claim here). |

You're really out there, aren't ya? North American food is not oil infested and we don't put cheese in all our food. Give me a break.
Dairy products are good for you, genius.
It's only a psychological barrier as far as Koreans are concerned when it comes to eating foreign foods. Food in North America is quite good and comes in so many varieties compared to Korea. You stupid list was soup, soup, soup, kimchi, kimchi, and oooooooooooooh, you eat vegetables! Wow!
You can eat very healthfully on a North American diet and not be bored with the same *beep* everyday. |

Now now it's a lot better than most English teachers with fake degrees who want to molest Korean children.
You telling me stuff like burgers, pizza, milk shake is good? If you want to be a butterball and age faster. Only thing that is even decent is a cold sandwich. Not hot subs. Yuk.
Of course I'm a genius. Thanks for the compliment. Have you actually eaten dairy products and wanting to poop or looked at your face even? That my friend is nasty.
Dairy products is needed for infants. I guess you are infants. There are better things out there that could substitute milk and cheese. Soy products for instance. This is very good for you. I eat it every week or so.
Here's the link for those who don't know how to search.

So what you're saying is that 떡볶이, cup ramen and that glazed 닭꼬치 is pretty healthy?

Well if those are the kinds of thoughts that run through your head, I guess we can't put much value into what you say.
Now go eat your daily kimchi, because we know for sure that most Koreans eat that everyday and other foods with kojuchang. Those foods give you stomach cancer.
You can't say North Americans eat burgers, cheese, milkshakes, and pizza everyday. That's an all too common assumpiton made by xenophobic, ignorant, insecure Koreans. |

Those are fast food for Koreans. I think I've mentioned on my previous post.
Come on now that it's a lot healthier than cheese burger and slice of pizza.
You want to be Asian by eating soy products. HAHA. Your soy burger~ yuck. |

Hell yes. I love kimchi. It's a healthy vegetable. I can't say the same thing about cheese though. It's liquid lard for porkers.
I basically grew up around my friend's house who is white BTW. That's all they ate, tv dinners or McDonalds. LOL
