I'm not so interested in the iTouch, myself. (I touch myself tee hee)
I would like a new nano, though.
I checked downtown and they won't be out until the first week in October. WTF
That's a month after the USA. Does it really take that long to print some hangul inserts? Crikey, we are right across the way from the factories...
Oh well.
edit: I just checked and the new iPods are in available in Japan, Hong Kong and Australia. I guess Korea is too tiny an Apple market. |
That can't be right. The iTouch will not be available until September 28th in the US. It'll ship 1 week later in Korea. |

You could have had a Nokia N800 if you had wanted. |

I was referring to the new nano and classic ipods, not the iTouch Myself.
The iTouch Myself's capacity is too small and the design still too green. It'll be a year or more before it's ready, for me at least. |

They are actually in some stores now, saw one yesterday, they are nice, very nice- the browser esp is great. I only wish the capacity was a bit higher. |

Does anyone know how well the ipod touch's wifi would work in Seoul? Can you use a service like nespot with it? I heard it can read Korean websites, but any word on Asian language text input? |
http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html
..suggests that it will display Korean fine, but it won't have Korean text input...which I guess it alright since it isn't an sms device....but sure won't help any Koreans buy it...
As far as Nespot... I doubt it...I'm having enough trouble getting Nespot to work with my MacBook, since the whole login process is really tied to Windows. But I bet the touch will work fine on the plethora of networks at starbuks, hollys, etc..... |

But then there's the issue of Korean websites....which notoriously suck on anything but IE...
And of course the ipod touch uses Safari.....so I wouldn't count on updating your cyworlds, or doing too much with any korean sites. |

Make sure your Ipod touch is from week 38 or later. I guess the early versions pretty much all have screen problems. You can check the week by looking at the last 2 digits of the serial number. |
