| What a howl! My thread "Is anyone else tired of looking at Dave's Ugly Mug" has been deleted. Guess criticizing Dear Leader in any way is furbodden on this site. Do you think they would have deleted the thread I had complimented the dude's picture? Still, the picture's gone. And that's a very good thing. |

I already said it : the picture's gone. Obviously Mr Sperling decided to agree with you and a half a dozen other people. Why do you want "your" thread still hanging arond? You won, didn't you?What more do you want?

You guys stop complaining! Who do you think pays the bills to keep the server running to keep the place where you all come and talk about nonsensical things for hours on end with no meaning or purpose except your own entertainment running with absolutely no expense to you? It's Dave's site. Let him do whatever he wants!

Exactly. This is Dave's place and it's free. What more do you want? Come on. He's not a bad looking guy, either. What's awful about this site is the avatars some people have. |

I have no problem with the pictures at the top, I think the site works just fine. I like the register of world places images at the top of each page and feel it's fine that the site administrator brands his site with a self portrait.
If I were on dial up internet, then it would bother me to have the images, including large avatars. People in rural America are still on dial up due to there being no broad band service providers. When I was home 2 weeks ago, this site ran so slowly that I didn't use it more than once for about 10 minutes, but didn't care since I was taking a break from Korea. |
