| Rose is awesome. |
By the end of Doomsday I was hoping a dalek would run her over. She was annoying with a capital "A". Mickey too.
Martha Jones= superior.
Spoilers BB:
Cathrine Tate from the Christmas Special will be the new companion next season. She's good, because lord knows "romance" Doctor was getting annoying.
Sally Sparrow and her boyfriend would have been better.
Captain Jack, better still |

I agree actually. Rose did my head in. And all that love nonsense was quite puke inducing.

Tate - bloody hell. She might be hard to stomach. Not sure how I'm going to handle her. The one off episode I saw her in was crap.
You might find this sketch amusing though - with Tennant and Tate. Bit of a laff.
Sparrow - an ex-boyfriend of mine said very much the same thing. I should have paid more attention to that episode, as I can hardly remember her. I suppose you boys thought she was 'hot' - right?
Captain Jack - Oh yes! I'm with you there. He's bloody entertaining. Has Dr Who ever had an American companion before? I really like his smooth yank persona. You are absolutely right. He'd make a better companion than any of these silly birds he keeps travelling with. I'd like to see more of him. I was just looking at this youtube clip of him singing the Dr Who Theme tune. |

| Why wait until next week? The entire season has been finished for months. |
Depends which part of the world you are viewing in, doesn't it. |
No, if it's been finished for months, it's been finished for months. Torrents are your friend. (I'm just finishing up a 4-season marathon of The Wire)

By the time she got annoying for you, I was already smitten. Smitten trumps annoying. |

That's how we all chose our girlfriends...

Well she's pretty. But I was thinking more about the character's curiosity and bravery. Perfect companion material.
Also, I thought the episode was brilliant.

I didn't pay her much attention, but I thought the episode was bloody excellent.

Ah yes, Peri. I'd forgotten her. I've never watched much of the 5th, and almost nothing of the 6th (couldn't stand Colin Baker). There was also an Australian companion: Tegan. I couldn't bloody stand her at all. Always whinging. |

Peri was okay. she was the only other companion I was smitten with. But I didn't think she did a good job acting "American". Saw an interview of her recently, and she still looks amazing. She's gotta be 45-ish now? |
