Some ajumma came running into my building the other day as I was climbing the first set of stairs. In a fairly excited way, she went on and on about something. She didn't really seem upset or anything, just really wanted to give me a message. I didn't understand a word, but that didn't bother her. She sure kept pointing outside and gesturing like she was separating two things. Finally, she had had her say and went away.

Another time I came up on some older guy squatting on the sidewalk alongside a busy street. He stood up quickly as I walked by and said 'my name is blah blah blah' very angrily in Korean. I kind of thought he was going to try to hit me or something. Totally pissed off. I walked up a ways further and then came back the same way. The old fart was still there and did the very same thing to me. I could only conclude he was off his meds.

I looked down at my two year old and in response to something he'd done, said "Thank you, cute little boy." He, with his head craned back so he could gaze up at the towering adult before him replied "Thank you, cute little mummy!"

Awwwww

Haha, funny pics itaewonguy. The one about the cops reminded me of something I saw last week. I was walking down the road and saw four cops playing one of those games outside the convenience stores where you have to move a claw around and try to pick up a toy. They seemed really into it. I read that Rudy Giuliani interrupted a speech at the NRA to take a cell phone call from his wife. "I love you, too, honey."

I think that was very sweet. American needs a guy with those kind of family values running things. After all, remember what Bush was doing while the Twin Towers burned and fell? Reading stories to kids about a pet goat.

A lot of people forget what Bill and Hillary were doing that morning, though ...

Um, I don't think you're even trying to be fair. She's just a human wiman and she has an opinion, and the ladies at Hooters just have jobs. Who is breautiful and who is righteous? Well, I guess it's you, right?

Anyway, lotta people think me and Osama are really tight buds, just cuz I've said a thing or two against Bush and the neocons, and the whole war in Iraq thing. Okay, I confess, we used to drink together back in the day, but we're both too busy with our separate projects to keep in touch much these days, but he DID send me a a Christmas card last year ...
