A new PSA on AFN is always something of a joy (though I do miss the days when a lot of their PSAs were history moment stuff). I grow tired of learning about people "recently" sending fake goods via army post etc. But this new one is kinda creepy. Girl goes about her daily business. Males, young and old, leer at her and ask her lewd questions, culminating in a coach asking her about her panties. You're a bit like WTF?
And then the PSA reveals its hand. Don't be a ho online.

My guess: She's been doing naughty things online and it's all over the internet now, and so random dudes in the street are recognising her. "Hey! It's the online ho!" No?
Or was it the "whew" you don't get? (not sure what that means in this context either) |

Yeah what you said crossed my mind initially, but it's just so unlikely.. and what does it mean to be a ho online? Like doing porn? Is that something that really needs to be made into a PSA.. in Korea? It's hard to understand. |

Yeah, that was my reaction to the PSA. Sure there are families here but not many. Ain't there better things to teach GIs in Korea? Like don't boast about your rape fantasies and report people who do? Or weird crap like that? I imagine there's a larger message to female GIs, don't post your online ho pictures around. |
