I know many guys come over here from other countries and wind up marrying Korean women. I'm interested as to why you wound up marrying a Korean as opposed to someone from your own country.
Is there or are there special qualities about Korean women that you like better than those of women from your own country?
What have been the adjustments you've had to make?
If you've had kids and are still in Korea, do you plan to stay and put them through the Korean educational system?
Lots of questions, I know, but I just curious about these things.
Finally, besides just being curious, I'm interested to know if any of you men would agree to be interviewed on a more in-depth basis by me. If so, please pm me or e-mail me at elliemk at mindspring dot com. Thanks for your responses.

Did you genuinely fall in love?

Someone asked: "What the *beep* for?"
Two reasons -
1. I'm curious.
2. I've been a writer and editor for the last nine years before coming back to Korea. I was thinking it might make an interesting article.
If you'd like to see my credentials, please pm me with your e-mail address and I'll send you my name for googling and a copy of my resume.
Thanks! |

I'm going to answer, because this isn't at all creepy or weird or anything.
I married a Korean woman because she had a really nice *beep* and because she liked to *beep* and *beep* all the time. I've met some *beep* in my time, but nobody *beep* like this *beep*. Sometimes, we like to *beep* strawberries with lots of *beep* for our *beep*, and she does this thing with her *beep* that makes me go *beep* you *beep* *beep* I'm so glad I *beep* you and *beep* *beep* *beep*
Also, we have two wonderful children. |

I forgot to mention that her being Korean and therefore my natural superior really turned me on. |

I'm curious about these things, too. Sure, if you don't go to Itaewon or Gangnam there's a strong chance you will never even see another woman who isn't Korean, let alone one that is attractive, but besides all that -- why a Korean woman? Tell me about the special ajumma qualities you just cannot resist. How are Korean women different from ugly yentas in Canadia? Don't be afraid to generalize and stereotype here.

Tell the truth, fellas. Did you marry for love, or were you simply tired of shelling out cash to prostitutes just to get your d[i]ck wet? |

I just spent 3 hours in the dentist's chair, under gas. Even had lucid dreams. Or would they be considered hallucinations??
Oh. Back to the topic. I don't fit your criteria. I was born and raised in the Republic of Texas.
However, I am a whitey married to a K-gal. Um.. what was the question?
EDIT: ah, she was over 30 and her family was anxious to marry her off.
Her Dad & I hit it off well over a few bottles of soju.
Seemed a done deal by then. Next think I knew, I was in a cheezy Korean wedding hole, in a fancy monkey suit.
No regrets. Just awaiting her K-3 visa! |

IF this was directed at me, I have 2 offspring. (that I know of)
Almost 17 son, and almost 15 daughter.
They have yet to produce grandchildren. (as far as I know.) |

Excellent. I'm curious, too, why the OP was specific in this particular way. |
