Chinese traditional medicine is certainly bollox and appallingly cruel to moon bears. That kind of torture makes the Japanese dolphin torturers and Korean dog torturers look mild in comparison. Cruel races. Their reputation for brutality is well-founded.
The Chinese one-child policy is also an abomination. Many baby girls are simply aborted and abandoned. What right does the state have in preventing a person who wants two children from doing so? It's also incredibly stupid, given China will have a huge elderly population. Mind you, we don't expect great intelligence from a country with 20% of the world's population and only the second biggest economy. It only took over the UK (1,300 million Chinese vs 60 million Brits) in 2005.
None of this would be so bad if it weren't for the fact that we're always told how more evolved (body hair), intelligent (higher IQs, chopsticks) Asians are.
See the protests in Hong Kong over the 1997 British handover of HK to the Chinese. I wonder why! Democracy, rule of law, civil liberties. |
Plus, the Chinese kill and torture so many frogs to get the eyes for the "frog eye cold remedy" I used to cure my cold when I was there. |

better than those politically correct democrat b*tches such as Hilary - on the one hand taking money from chinese government, on the other hand bashing it.

I admit, I hate china.
lets dissect China. Plug your noses!
1. Chinese writing. Some consider this worth studying. It isnt. Its about the most backwards writing system ever devised. It must have been devised by children too as most of it are basically rudimentary hieroglyphics. The worst thing about it is that its totally useless in the modern world. Try applying it to electronics, genetics. Its useless.
2. Chinese food is about the most disgusting crap Ive ever had to eat. And I didnt even touch any of the truly disgusting things. But perhaps Chinese eating habits can give us a clue as to why China produces garbage that kills consumers in other countries. Garbage in, garbage out. Would YOU eat spiders and c*ckroaches? The Chinese do.
3. Why cant the Chinese produce something that doesnt posion or kill consumers? have they failed to grasp this simple concept? Consumer goods shouldnt be lethal.
4. Chinese people. Just about the rudest, most unrefined bunch of country bumpkins in the world. I wouldnt trust one with anything of mine, it would probably be stolen. |

That's cuz you don't know *beep*. That makes you an idiot. |
No, actually the jap are rotten. |
No, actually you are a freak and too ignorant to be worth considering. I am right, you are wrong. End of discussion.
Japan is the coolest country in Asia, by far. |
absolutely.
japan is the coolest country in Asia, just as germany is the coolest country in Europe, especially to Jews. |

first of all, i think only dumba$$ uses chinese medicine to cure something, if it could cur anything.
secondly, i think you should be accused for killing those poor frogs (may they rest in peace). if you care so much about those poor souls, why did you buy stupid medicine at the first place? |

a very valid attack. what happened was that I got sick. I asked my gf, who is chinese, to write out a note to give to the pharmacy. I took the note to the pharmacy and they gave me some *beep* with chinese writing all over the side. I got home and took some. Later, gf comes home and tells me I've take frog eyeballs. At chinese pharmacies, they have both Eastern and Western medicine... they gave me some of the Eastern stuff.. However, the cold did get better a day or so later, so.... |

I defy you to defy me on this one. |

I like when someone posts photos to talk of an entire country to criticise or else praise. Works every time.

Once I departed Tianjin in a two person berth on a train. Across from me was a uniformed member of the Chinese security bureau.
The next train stop, he went out and purchase a whole cooked chicken and plenty of rice wine. He basically wined and dined me that day and next til we exited the train in Hubei Province.

Good for you. You were wined and dined by somebody who has probably more than a few bucket loads of blood on his hands. If this was 1935 and you were in Germany your travel companion would probably have been working for the gestapo or SS. |

While I always thought walking the Great Wall of China is something I wanted to do, I decided I won't go to China on account of it being a system of corruption require payment of bribes as well as a people who don't care about the environment or others in the world. The excessively high tourist visa for Americans turned me off from a Beijing trip. Also China is polluting the air and the ocean to a critical degree in an irresponsible manner. You can taste it in the fish caught in the NE Asia area, the fish are the most disgusting around here. Korea and Japan are suffering most from Chinas irresponsibility due to everything in the environment going from West to East. It also ends up in the Americas, but in lower concentrations while ultimately distributing throughout the entire atmosphere of the Earth. I feel America is also partly responsible for China being bad for all of us due to American business executives outsourcing all the work to the Chinese while not helping the Chinese to do it right.
The communist China is also reported to be harvesting organs of prisoners and selling them for transplants. I believe it, but don't have any facts to back that claim up. In my opinion, you would have to be crazy or not enlightened of what the real China is all about, to actually go there to do business or travel very far beyond the big cities. |

I agree with most of the mood of this... still, China is a much more fun and exciting place to live and work... sorta like the wild wild west... a true adventure. |

exactly.
two years ago a group of us travlled in china, and one security policy stopped us and beat the sh!t out of us one by one for no reason. he even threatened us that "don't let me see your ugly faces again, i have killed many of you before, and i don't mind doing it again".
so we all felt lucky coming out alive.
god bless.

i can attest to that.
last year i believe you were much smarter than you are today.
maybe because you went to china early this year, and those commy put some low-life damaged brains into you.
i beleive it, but don't have any facts to back this claim up.
but hey, you know, that's just my thought. and everyone has his or her rights to spread his/her thoughts, or rumors.
i'm loving it. |
