|
|
I'd love to do an unpaid internship in Asia but don't want to teach English--been there, done (doing) that.
What I would really like is doing a stint with an organization that deals with sexual trafficking, poverty, or something of that nature. Something with a research and writing component to it. This will be something to guide future grad school interests.
Anyone know of any organizations? |

I can say for sure that in Korea that is almost an impossible thing to do.
HK is a much better venue for internships. |

Someone with more knowledge can support or refute me, but my understanding was that the concept of internship doesn't really exist in Korea. Even if it did, you would be competing to get into it with people who had been going to an internship-preparation hakwon since age 3. |

Sorry for the lack of info, but I definitely wouldn't do it in Korea, I've been here long enough. I would, however, like to do it in Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, basically anywhere but not Korea. |
