does this movie place exist? a bunch of people have told me they heard about this but no one seems to know where it is?
a lot of new korean movies are shown here with English subtitles apparently. |

Seoul Selection, just beside Gyongbukgung, screens Korean DVDs with English subtitles. Additionally, many/most DVDs at the DVD rooms have English subtitles - just look on the back of the box and ask the guy/girl to turn them on.
In terms of full blown cinemas screening actual film with subtitles in English I'd say the best bet would be somewhere like Sponge House or the Seoul Art Cinema/Film Forum. They often screen European/Japanese films with English subtitles.
A worthwhile pursuit, to be sure.
