Maybe has to do with the continued history of UN interventionist / foreign takeover bullsh*t.
Maybe the recent "free"-trade fast-tracking with the USA?
Molla.
( p.s. Simplest form of "free" - trade philosophy = "Ok, let's trade ! We want it for free ... hehe ) |

If that ever happens again, grab your cell-phone camera and take a quick snapshot of his credentials on the bus wall and leave. He will change his tune real soon (especially since these guys drive with the video cameras on). I tried this one time with a jerk taxi driver, the instant I got a snapshot of his credentials on the dash, he folded like a pair of twos before a royal flush.
It's a great deterrent of a-hole behavior if nothing else. |

That's the point where you make a scene. A very large, loud scene. Refuse to get off the bus, and dare him to throw you off.
Yeah, I know it's easy to say that if you aren't there. But, I have to think that if I had been there I would have forced him to physically assault me.
That, or whip it out and piss on him. Then, run like hell! |

I'm not overly inscenced by these pictures. It's pretty lame for someone to go to the trouble of printing and hanging these banners around the place, but I'm putting it down to an individual nutjob with an axe to grind.
It's obviously illegal, and they're down now. So what exactly is it I should be reacting to? |
Yet over 4 days, not a single Korean decided to do the right thing. They read the sign, and moved on, probably nodding.
Not a SINGLE Korean had the sense or conscience to remove the signs. |

Still doesn't surprise me that this could occur in the ROK. Maybe it is you who would be better served by re-reading the thread. |
OK, we get it. You're not surprised. We understood the first 9 times you stated this. Are you this retarded in your daily life as well? |

I sympathise with locals protesting the ruination of their islands by developers, I have been to both those islands several times. They were picturesque and unspoilt islands only 2 years ago. Now they are being radically altered and concreted...
However the outright racism of the banners is inexcusable.
You could start by sending those pictures to the Korea tourism authority:

Why not clean up their language a little bit?
Who knows, they might even manage to win over a few dirty little white english jews living here in the ex-pat community to their plight |
