Iran's Jewish population has dwindled from about 80,000 at the time of the 1979 Islamic revolution but remains the largest of any country in the Middle East apart from Israel. Jews have lived in Iran since at least 700BC.
Hostility between Iran's government and Israel means Iranian Jews are often subject to official mistrust and scrutiny. |

Four years later, the regime did its best to instate policies and practices hostile to religious minorities. Water fountains and toilets at my high school were segregated, some marked with signs that read For Muslims Only. But by and large, Iranians were not receptive to such bigotry. We crisscrossed among the stalls until the signs became meaningless. |

Iran also blew up the Jewish community center not in Israel but in Argentina.

Islamic judges in Iran have set the precedent that the rape of a Mandaean woman can be regarded as an act of 'purification,' and as such, violators receive impunity. In Iran this defence has been used to acquit men of rapes on Mandaean girls as young as 8 years old (ibid.). |

so what do you have to say? |
Not much more. The justice system isn't top notch in Iran, that goes across the board. What racism surprises you? Minorities are targeted everywhere. The emigration: Economically Iran isn't the greatest place to be for most of the population, so the temptation of emigrating is high for everyone, and the cash incentives to immigrate into Israel also helps . You can try all you want but there is no active government "wiping" of any race/religion in Iran...political beliefs...well that's another story.

Iran charged over Argentina bomb

Iran charged over Argentina bomb
The blast was the worst terror attack in Argentina's history
The Iranian government and Lebanese militia group Hezbollah have been formally charged over the 1994 bombing of a Jewish centre in Buenos Aires.
Argentine prosecutors are calling for the arrest of former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani and seven others.
Chief prosecutor Alberto Nisman accused the Iranian authorities of directing Hezbollah to carry out the attack.
Hezbollah and Iran both deny that they were involved in the blast, which killed 85 and wounded 300.
The blast, on 18 July 1994, reduced the seven-storey Jewish-Argentine Mutual Association (AMIA) community centre in Buenos Aires to rubble.
Nobody has ever been convicted of the attack, but the current government has said it is determined to secure justice.
'Hallmarks' |
So was that an anti Israeli attack or an anti Jewish attack?

Iranian TV Series Based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and the Jewish Control of Hollywood
Throughout the first two weeks of April, the Iranian TV station Al-Alam aired a documentary titled Al-Sameri wa Al-Saher. The series purports to explain how the Jews control Hollywood by the directives set out in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The following are excerpts from the documentary: [1]
The False Myth About the Murder of Six Million Jews
"The most important film produced under Zionist guidance in the 60s was called Operation Eichmann. This film completed the false myth about the murder of six million Jews in the hands of the Nazis.
"But the film producers did not mention his provocative trial on December 17 1961. This is because of what Eichmann said about the German Jews' expulsion and killing: 'I was only carrying out the orders of the Zionists. They asked me to gather the Jews in a specific place in the world, using expulsion or murder. First, their target was Poland, then Madagascar, but in the end they chose the Middle East. If I am guilty of the so-called
killing of 6 million Jews then the Zionist leaders are much guiltier than I am. This is because they wanted to silence the world under the pretext that if they had stayed in Germany they would have been killed. Because they don't have a country they are forced to occupy other people's land. And that is what they did.' The Zionist authorities finished the trial quickly to avoid further commotion. They hanged Adolf Eichmann in 1962 so the secrets of the collaboration between the Zionists and the Nazis would remain hidden. |

since when does being charged with something = guilty? What happened in Argentina is awful, but the fight against Israel in Israel is self defense against a regime not a people. Drop a load of Chinese people in Palestine and i hope people would help against that too.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4678195.stm
And "terrorists" are usually proud of their accomplishments, why would they deny responsibility here?
You comparing Iran's susptected attacks in other nations versus the documented murders done so by Israel is odd to me.
I hope it doesn't look like Ifully support Iran or Hezbolah or anything, I just don't like it when people knowingly try to skew reality.
ugh I need a life.

Bin Laden happy over attack, denies involvement
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden congratulated the people who carried out the deadly terrorist strikes in the United States, but denied Wednesday that he was involved, a Palestinian journalist said. "Osama bin Laden thanked Almighty Allah and bowed before him when he heard this news," Jamal Ismail, Abu Dhabi Television's bureau chief in Islamabad, said, quoting a close aide of bin Laden's. Ismail said the aide, whom he wouldn't identify by name, called him early Wednesday on a satellite telephone from a hide-out in Afghanistan. Bin Laden praised the people who carried out the attacks in Washington and New York, Ismail said, quoting the aide. "But he had no information or knowledge about the attack" ahead of time, Ismail said |

Scew reality? You think Iran and Hizzbollah are innocent?
The reality is that Al Qaedists , Khomeni followers and Bathists are all fascist bigots who can't be trusted to govern or protect their minorities.

I thought BinLaden siad he took part in the 911 thing.
Well here's one...

So Israel has to kill over a body of water to make it wrong? They bomb and shoot freely across their borders and don't give a damn about the consequences. They invade and occupy foreign land and do what they want, they are not required to abide by any rules. I don't see Israel taking land from a jew and giving it to an arab, they're fighting against arabs, they're taking from arabs, and any resistance from the arabs, they're dead.
You're leaving out a lot of ppl that aren' Muslim or arab. I'm done with this 'debate' I can't stand your hate. I just hope it doesn't spread. Peace. |

Israel bombs and shoots cause their enemies shoot at them. They invade cause they were under attack. They offered to give back the west bank and Gaza

The ex-president said the best solution to the Middle East conflict is an interim settlement that would "establish a Palestinian state now."
But he stressed that the creation of such a state must be preceded by security assurances for Israel and a timetable to resolve other issues.
Clinton said Arafat made a "disastrous mistake" by turning down past peace proposals that would have given the Palestinian leader control of 97 percent of the West Bank.
Yet, Clinton said, "There is reason for hope.
"I think this will be resolved on the terms the Palestinians walked away from." |
You think that any attack on Israel is ok and anytime Israel hits back it is aggression. You are just another another fake peace activist.

Your business is selective criticism and being a fake peace advocate. |

and you are a moonbat and your business is selective criticism. You pretend it is moral concern when it is really just politics.

Japanese Translator of Rushdie Book Found Slain
By STEVEN R. WEISMAN
OKYO, July 12 -- The Japanese translator of "The Satanic Verses," by Salman Rushdie, was found slain today at a university northeast of Tokyo.
The translator, Hitoshi Igarashi, 44 years old, was an assistant professor of comparative culture who reportedly studied in Iran in the 1970's. The police said he was stabbed several times on Thursday night and left in the hallway outside his office at Tsukuba University. |
and I am sure this will make your day.
| Quote: |
| Rushdie's would-be punishers are in human guise, though, and they are deadly serious. Rushdie has only to consider the murder of his Japanese translator Hitoshi Iagrashi, the multiple stabbing attack on his Italian translator Ettore Capriolo, the shooting of his Norwegian publisher Willem Nygaard. He has only to recall the assassination in Brussels of the Saudi cleric Abdullah Ahdal, who once dared disagree with Khomeini. So, too, did an obscure, exiled Iranian pop singer, whose satirical lyrics about the Ayatollah earned him a gruesome end in a Paris hotel room. When the police found his body, it was in small pieces in a garbage bag. |
