It seems that there was a huge misunderstanding.

The Woodstock in Suyu has NO problems with allowing foreigners in, and even though the guy did say to me in clear terms that foreigners are no longer allowed, apparently I am not allowed (or anyone with me), because of the antics of someone they associate me with.

Sorry for any misunderstandings; I am going to call my Korean friend later to see if he will help me clear my now-tarnished name around my area.

It's just pretty bad when there is a 7 page thread comprised of people denouncing Koreans for their 'racism', when in that case there was no racism involved, except for an error in what the guy said ('foreigners no longer allowed').

Happy Chuseok everybody!

Your post is confusing.

Are foreigners allowed in Woodstock or not?

Seems crystal clear to me. Yes foreigners are allowed, unless you go with the op.

The OP must look unique. Most Koreans have a hell of a time telling us apart unless they know us fairly well. I was at a soccer match when an ajuma from the concession stand came running up to give me 'my' change which 'I' had forgotten to take. I later met the guy who had actually forgotten to pick up his change and he looked nothing like me.

Yeah but you didn't steal her purse. Bet she would've remembered better if you did.

I was at Woodstock two weeks ago, and never for a second did I
think they were racist.

On the contrary, the bartenders asked me what I wanted to hear, and
threw on some James Brown for me.

I think it's easy to assume that people will always try to play the race card
once shit goes down, but it ain't necessarily so.

I think most bars will openly welcome money, so long as it doesn't come
with predicaments.
