How long is the wait if I apply for this in Seoul? Can I get it the same day or the next day?

Thai won't issue a 3 month visa w/out reason. You have to have a promise of employment ("b" visa) or be married (for an "o" visa). Both of these visa's are 3 mo. W/out the above qualifications, the best you can apply for is a one mo tourist visa.

You get a 1 month visa on arrival. A 2 month travel visa should be no problem.

YOu can get a 60 day tourist visa which you can then extend for another 30 days. for 1900B

You could get two 60 day tourist visas as well. extend one for 60 days leave come back in on the new one and extend that.

You could try for an O visa and say you are going to get married.

The visa on arrival isn't a real visa just permission to stay there for 30 days. There is in theory a 90 day for the VOA limit but not sure if it's being enforced

Go to the consulate for the tourist visas, they take 24 hours.

But you can only be in Thailand as a tourist for 3 months out of a 6 month period. So how is this possible unless you leave Thailand for 3 months?

That regulation is applicable only to the 30 day Visa Exemption. A Tourist Visa is something entirely different:
