| Does anyone know anything about drawing classes (perhaps taught in English) in Korea? I've heard a little about drawing hakwons here but am not sure whether they focus mostly on kids or whether my not being able to speak Korean well would mean that I couldn't enroll. Does anyone know of (or have experience attending) drawing classes here that might be comfortable for a non-Korean speaker? Also, if you've studied something similar at a hakwon here, how was it? |

| I dont know of any, but its a good idea... also, anyone know of any watercolor painting classes...? Oh, wait, Im leaving soon... oh well. |

| Thank you for the help. I looked at the school's site and it seems quite interesting. I'm wondering if it might be too advanced for me though... Also, like Tiger Beer, I'd be interested in learning more about institutions that offering drawing classes in the Hongdae/Sinchon area if anyone knows of any. |

If you need to get yourself up to speed, "Drawing on the right side of the brain" by Betty Edwards is good, if you haven't used it already. |

| Interesting... I'll see if I can't find a copy of it somewhere. I've always liked drawing but never had the time to really focus on it a great deal, so I probably need all the help I can get. Thanks! |

I've studied mixed martial arts and jazz saxophone at hakwon here. All classes are taught in (mostly) Korean. My Korean isn't that great, but one can generally infer what's expected. |
