About 40 meters. 8 am. Jumped off a cliff headfirst onto a pile of clam/oyster shells and I think I have a slipped disk. Just felt like sharing. Thanks for listening. LOL. Laughing

How are you still able to walk? 40 metres is like diving off a four storey building!

I'm calling BS. I have 2 friends who jumped off a 30 meter cliff into nothing but water (they did this 6 months apart and didn't know each other). They landed feet first, but since their toes weren't pointed correctly, the surface tension broke vertebrae. This broke inwards, not the paralyzing outwards, and each had to be in pain and wear a full back brace for 6 months.

40 meters is NOT a four story building. It's much, much more.

You can dive off this height successfully. I've jumped feet first of the 30 meter twice and luckily landed safely (before my friends got fked up). Cliff divers can dive 40 meters into 3 meters of water. But a drunken ESL teacher? It's possible, but it's gotta be BS. [no personal offense to you, tokki, i just think your drunkenness turned a 4 meter cliff into a 40 meter]

40 meters is over 130 feet. That's roughly the same as a 12 storey building.

Generally a story is about 3 m, so a 40 m building is more like 13 stories.

Unless they are tall stories.

You obviously didn't read the OP. He landed on a pile of oyster/clam shells. I think he may also have been drunk. Try reading OPs once in awhile before you call BS next time.

I think this may be a very tall story.

Your right, I assumed that the clam shells were in the water, my bad.

But the fact that the OP says he jumped off anything 40 meters onto anything, especially something NOT in the water, makes his story BS. Try considering the true nature of the BS once in awhile before you defend a drunk poster.
