Well, who pops into your mind when you think of a famous veggie?

I choose John Feldmann, the lead singer of Goldfinger and an active PETA member (at least when I talked to him). He was the biggest tool I ever interviewed and he mentioned how he wanted to burn down a shop that sold fur jackets the last time he was in my city.

I voted for Morrissey because he influenced me to change my eating habits (years ago, when I was in high school). That said, I think celebrity promotions can go too far ... haven't a few supposedly-veg celebrities flaked out and gone back to meat after a while?

I voted "other." I think of Lisa Simpson. Other famous vegetarians might include Babe the pig and Mr. Ed.

Only one vote for Pam? (And it's mine.) I had no idea any of those other people were vegetarian. Except Gandhi, but eeeeh. It's related to deeper beliefs which makes it different from "vegetarianism" in my mind. Vegetarianism has always struck me as being basically frivolous. Sorry vegetarians.

Kindly elaborate on the nature of these "deeper beliefs."

Yeah, Hilter was a vegetarian. Scary evil man.

Just did a lesson on him, Jesus, Johnny Rotten and Maradona....personality and appearance lesson. Kids (17 year old boys) got a kick out of it.

Rambling Saturday afternoon...

I've never given it any thought, so none of the above, I'm afraid.

Beautiful!

I would have said Richard Gere. Only cuz he's the first Hollwooder I think of when it comes to Buddhism.
