Something tells me that Kim Min-soo's tae-kwon-do will prevail over Randy Kim's ancient martial art of ... shot-putting.

I'm rooting for Mighty Mo. For some reason I take pleasure in seeing Korea get beaten. |

I pick Sefo, Remy, Semmy, and if he can find that enormous chin again, Mo. Mo needs to win again to prove the first one wasn't a fluke.
Nothing else on the card interests me. |

It's just tamayto tomahto in the end. If Korea wins, the nationalists shout "Look at how great Korea is!" and if Korea loses, the nationalists shout "They cheated / some other excuse!"
Either way, the nationaists have their say. Tomayto, tomahto. |

Bonjasky VS Stefan"Blitz" Leko is gonna be the fight im looking forward to the most, cant call that one.
Cant see Mighty Mo upseting the big man again either - the're both slow and lacking in any real talent and skill, but when your fists are the size of cannon balls then your always gonna have a good chance.
and I got tickets!!! result! |

Is this not tournament style where winning fighters advance to fight later in the same night? I thought that's what was happening tonight? |

Is it going to be on TV?
I hope Mo beats Hong man.
Can't they find someone at least near Hong man's size to fight him?
I watched him on TV fighting an assortment of fatties and freaks. |

Tonight's winners will go on the championships, which will be held at a later date and will be tournament-style. |

Entertaining prelim fight, ranger, taking on a much bigger korean opponent cut the big man down with a succession of leg kicks till the big man couldn't get up. Ranger was quite cocky through out, dancing and shimmying arouind, quite funny to watch. |

It's been several hours since it started. Has anyone seen the results yet?
I am also hoping and guessing that Mo will beat him again. CHM may be big and strong, so why does he only have 5 KO's in 14 matches? He doesn't finish people off well. |

CHM beat Mo by unanimous decision.
The fight was an embarassment to both fighters. CHM has no stand-up game, it was like watching a slow motion movie.
That's about all I remember. |

Surprise Surprise! Choi wins another controversial decision in Seoul.
http://www.k-1.co.jp/k-1gp/top808.htm
** "I feel I was robbed. I should have won," said a disappointed Mo after the fight. "He must have picked up a new technique -- the kick below the belt! I really think that there should be a third fight. There was a lot of favoritism here, next time I want to fight somewhere else."
Informed of Mo's protestation, Choi said, "I don't have any problems with the decision -- I wanted to beat him by KO but beating him by decision is good. I was very nervous yesterday, I kept remembering Mighty Mo from that time, so I only slept for three hours and I was tired. If he wants a rematch, anytime!"
When is this gonna end ? Did anyone go to this ? |
