I'd like to bring some travellers cheques out with me for my first few weeks, and was just wondering which currency is easiest to exchange, or if it doesn't really matter? Thanks |

If it is a TC you will have to go to the bank to change them and it won't matter which flavor of currency you bring.
You an also just bring cash in the currency of your home country and change it at the bank or currency kiosk (run by the banks) at the airport and save the running around. (the exchange rates are the same that you would get downtown at the bank).
Just don't bring Scottish pounds. No-one here will touch them. British pounds are fine as are US$, CAD, EUROs, AUD or even HKD.
