What does one do for 2 months I think it is?....

There will be extra classes I have to teach here and maybe a formal camp at another location (is this optional)?

Does the time go fast?....

Do you get anytime off to sight see?

Cheers

No, winter break begins in July. Summer break starts in December. (kidding)

Was your question sarccy or just weird?

OP:

If you're working in a public school you'll probably do about 2 or 3 weeks of doing nothing at school. You'll also probably do a 'camp' at your school (winter classes) for a week or two. You'll probably get 2 weeks vacation. You might be asked to work a camp somewhere else, depending on whether you're working for GEPIK/EPIK/Some Other Program. You'd probably be paid extra for a camp in another place, but you might not be.

If you're real lucky your school might say "See ya in March" and you'll have a 2 month vacation.

No, it was neither. Does winter break begin in December, January, or February? If it was a weird question why didn't you answer it instead of trying your hand at wit? Not all of us have been in Korea as long as yourself.

JTC, the way it was explained to me: winter vacation starts late Dec., and school will start again late Jan./beginning of Feb. BUT, there is another short break between February and March somewhere - only 1-2 weeks. I'm at home, so I don't have the dates, but I'll post em when I get back to school...hope it helps.

Sorry.

It's normal for winter vacation to begin in December. For public school teachers the actual time you have off will probably be in January or February though. I didn't mean to be rude.
