Depends on the job. At one hagwon my first year, we'd teach 6-8am, then maybe 4-10pm.
Then socializing/drinking time. So sleep time was during the day.
When I did the standard ECC routine, I'd get up an hour before work, 1 or 2 pm.
Public school jobs, I'd get up at 7-7:30, work til 4, then work as long as I could take it. (yes, privates)

So many years of irregular schedules has me messed up. I can go a couple of days with a couple of hours sleep.
But then I'll crash and wake up wondering what day it is.

I had a laugh at the poll options. The latest option is 9-10am, and the last one indicates that you must be unemployed or self-employed if you wake up any later. Laughing

When I was a haggie teacher, there were many, many times I'd wake up at noon or later. It wasn't that I was lazy, but that my schedule was simply set up that way. Get home late, go to bed late, wake up late, leave for work late.

With my current situation, I've got a very random schedule. I pretty much wake up and go to sleep whenever my body tells me to. Rarely use an alarm clock. Just have to be in to work by 5ish and stay at least a few hours.

The weirdest schedule I ever had was when I was taking a single college course (finishing up a surprise requirement!!!) and working the graveyard shift at a hotel. I'd work 11pm - 7am, and my class was twice a week at 6pm. So I was often the dude eating a cheeseburger at 7:30 in the morning at IHOP. Then I'd go home, d!ck around, go to bed around noon. It was mentally straining.

Sorry.... I thought about making more options, but just hurried through the last one. Didn't mean to make judgments on anyone's schedule or sleep habbits. Wink

My first year here I wasn't supposed to be at the office until 1 so I would usually wake up at 12:50.

Nowadays I have a series of alarms:
8:00am: turn on the TV and go back to sleep
8:40am: put an arm around the wife and go back to sleep
8:55am: get out of bed and get ready for work.

Q.1 - why turn on the TV and go back to sleep? Isn't that a bit of a waste of electrity?
Q.2 - Doesn't your wife mind that the TV is on?
Q.3 - Doesn't your wife work?

Sorry for so many questions.. but curiosity kills the cat and all that...

6:50 - wake up, switch on CNN but only half pay attention because really the point here is to have precious lazy time before work. CNN annoys me though - "on Late Edition, you'll meet the minds that move the world".

7:20 - get up, teeth, coffee, wash, dress, apply mammoth quantities of hair gel,

7:50 - leave, usually walk to work (2 miles or 3km)

(I know what you're thinking - why no shower? I'm a shower before bed man)

I get up between 5 and 6 every day, and I go outside to catch the bus at 8:05. It's a habit I've had since high school. I hate being in a rush in the morning, so I like to get up early and acclimate myself. I'll make coffee, do some reading, do any last-minute stuff I have to do for class, make a mad-dash to iron the day's laundry, etc. I know there are some people who fit coffee, breakfast, shower, and laundry into an hour or 45 minutes before work, but I'm very, very slow, haha.

I'm up at 4:30 because my day starts at 6:30 - time difference with the states. On the plus side, I'm home by 6-7pm.

I get up at 7am. V Nice. I always need one hour to get ready, breakfast, shower, watch telly etc. So one hour has always been my must.

If I'm rushed in the morning, always leads to a bad day, so always nice and relaxed in the morning.

I set my alarm clock for 8:00 and snooze-it 4 or 5 times. But contrary to the poll options, I always complain. Before comming to Korea I would get up whenever I felt like it, usually after 12.
Since Chuseok I've had trouble getting back to my schedule of goin to bed around 12, and been falling asleep after 3. It's been hard getting up for school at 8:30.
Like Alyallen mentioned before it's getting harder and harder for me to get up that early.
I used to be lazy bones, but now I'm semi-early bird.

For this job, around 7:30. For my college jobs, 5:30. I went to bed by 10PM, usually.
