In response to a thread opposite of this, i would like to know what the average time you go to sleep is. Please elaborate if you have the time to.
Personally, i fall on that bed around 3:00am on average. I really hate trying to sleep before midnight and i tend to sleep only a few hours.

Lately I've been going to bed around 10 - 11pm and wake up between 6 n'7. I recently moved to a city out in the boonies and fresh air and I've been sleeping like a baby ever since. It's been a long time since I've felt so rested. |

I used to work the night shift at the hagwon so it used to be anytime between 11 and 3 and then waking up approx. 9 hours later. I just got a new uni job that has been crimping my style a bit lately. 10:30 classes! Who needs that? |

I try to get 8 hours...more or less. Trying to train myself to go to bed earlier than mindnight.
But after years and years of being a night owl, and relishing the quiet hours after midnight when the world sleeps, it's hard to change the body clock.
And since I get up at 7:30 now for the new P.S. job....gotta train myself (and husband). |

My thought exactly!!
I go to bed at around 11.30 and get up at 7 ish - whenever my daughter wakes up, which is between 7 to 7.30. If I am very busy, I go to bed later. |

I usually roll into work around 1:30 p.m., which gives me the leisure to go to bed whenever I get tired and get out of bed whenever I happen to wake up. I only use my alarm clock if I have a bus to catch or other early morning appointment. |

Generally about midnight and I get up at 7. Really nice.
Stark contrast from when I worked as a chef and slept anything between 2 and 3 hours a night. Ah bliss now!
I'm sure my Mum told me a few years back that they did some research about sleep and people's brains. It said that people's brains work in multiples of 2. SO basically people should only sleep 2,4,6,8,10 hours. If you're about to embark on a seven hour sleep, wait one hour because your brain will be fresher and more alert. I believed this for a number of years and when I raised it with my mum recently she denied all knowledge. I'm 29 years old. |

Ohhhh... I really envy you. That was precisely my schedule when I was working back in Canada. Start work at 1:30. Go to bed whenever I get tired, usually around 3 and wake up whenever i wake up. No alarm clock. That's the life isn't it?
Now I have to wake up for 8:30, so I usually go to bed between 12-1. Although since Chuseok I've been going to bed later at about 3:00 and I can't get back to normal. Gonna be really tired tomorow
I have a great hatred of alarm clocks. |

I'd rather go to bed earlier but I just can't sleep if I go to bed before 12. |
