I hate it when there are two decent shows on the same night. If you're down in Cheongju, this is one show you won't want to miss. I heard the lead singer of 13 Steps is going into the army and the lead singer of Attacking Forces is coming out. Two great bands from a small town.

A bunch of Japanese skinhead bands are coming over for a punk festival in Skunk Hell in Hongdae. Whenever these guys come the show usually lasts until sunrise.

Dunno if you are on facebook, but if you are you can join the what's going on in Cheongju group to cast a wider net for these things. Unfortunately I have a prior appointment in Seoul that night so will miss out on what seems like some top music that night.

PS, 30th anniversary of what?

I think it's just a liberal use of the word "anniversary." It probably means 30th show.

Looks like the Cheongju group is already advertising this show. They had a successful charity show last Friday I think.

30 years of Punk rock. The Sex Pistols and Ramones formed in the late seventies

I'm told that "Fatness" is the Japanese version of Bad Manners. They've been recommended to me by a friend in Tokyo.

Question: What are the hours/days of operation for Skunk Hell? It seems that every flippin' time i try to go, be it early evening, late evening or night time on a Friday or Saturday, the dang place is closed! It's really frustrating considering how far i live from there. And no, i can't make it this weekend, but SOMETIME, i'd like to walk by and have the doors not be closed.

This show starts at 4pm and will probably go very, very late. A typical show starts at 6:30 and ends by 10:30. Then there's Spot which has after-midnight shows.
