| I just bought a plane ticket and went. I contacted a travel agent to help with my VISA. I was not on a tour. |

| Koreans are everywhere. My first two hours in Tehran, I saw a gaggle of 9 ajummas blocking the sidewalk. A few different people were saying that there are a lot of K-tourists these days. Basically they say Koreans are not friendly and often just outright rude. |
I lived in the Philippines before, the only reason Koreans are tolerated down there (barely) is because Koreans tend to spend a lot of money there. And most Filipinos will tell you they like Korean food.
I met a number of Iranians in Manila, they were so cool and down to earth and pleasant to talk to. This Iranian couple owned an internet cafe, and I'd spend hours in there chatting with them about how crazy Bush and Ahmejinedad (sp?) are. lol |

| What a great adventure, it really debunks the view of western media outlets who portray a strained Iranian society constantly living under the spear of the ever-watchful ayatollahs. |
Unfortunately, it's the ayatollahs who are in control and have the bombs.
People should be held accountable for their governments. |

If that's the case, then we should really be bombing the *beep* out of the USA right now. |

Quite a few Iranians in Seoul as well. They're usually some of the coolest guys around. Kind of edgy in a hip way. You'd almost think they were Italians or fashionable Europeans of some nature - from the limited demographics I've observed anyways.
Always interesting when Americans and Iranians meet in Korea as well. There is this 'are you cool with my nationality?' thing going on for both nats for awhile. |
