Get a clue folks. This is the society that has won 2 battles in it's entire history. Never won a war.

For God's sake, they weren't even able to invent a chair! They sit their a$$es on the floor to this day. I lived for 2 1/2 years in Cameroon Africa and even the dumbest noodlehead knew enough to get his a$$ up off the floor.

People are continually bit--ching about the Korean educational system, the ethics or what ever. My God!!!! These people couldn't invent a chair!!!

Lower you expectations. I don't care how many "gold medals" a special Olympics athlete has won I really don't expect to see them at the REAL Olympics.

My God, the engineering involved in constructing and using a chair is beyond them! Stop Bit--ching and get real!!!!

So what happened to you?

Did your Korean girlfriend dump you or did your boss screw you over?

King Sejong called. He wants to tell you that his throne seems an awful lot like a chair.

They copied the idea of the throne. They didn't invent it.

Sorry, but I have to agree with the OP on this one. Three old women gatecrashed my house at the weekend to pick the stalks off 300Kg of red chillis. They did this for 2 days non-stop sitting on the floor when there were plenty of comfortable stools sitting nearby. Idiots. They also complained non-stop about how expensive Korean produce is compared to imported produce but how they wont buy anything else because they are worried it might have pesticides on/in. What do you think Korean farmers use? Pixie's urine? Idiots.
Sit-down toilets are Ok if you can aim properly and you roll your trousers up. I always find I don't need as much toilet paper when I use them.

Add to that, queuing in a line. The simplest concepts are apparently the hardest to arrive at. Took millenia before the wheel was thought of, remember.

Now everyone lives in weetabix boxes there isn't the need.
