I'm arriving in Seoul in mid-November with a fiance and dog in tow. Anybody out there know of a cheap, dog-friendly hotel we can stay in while I job shop? (Info on dog-friendly employers/apartments also appreciated.) Many thanks! |

Thanks for the lead! Our reservations are for a 10pm flight, so I'm a little nervous about just winging it.

P.S. Definitely #2. I'm arriving in Seoul in mid-November (with a fiance and dog in tow)? :) |

I've taken one of my dogs with me in several hotel (love-ish style) with no problem. Then again, management never knew, as I kept her (all 6 kgs) in my packsack when going through the lobby, and she is an extremely quite pooch.
As for dog-friendly jobs/housing...bruhaha. Well, I can not imagine bringing your canine to work, though I did and received much crap....just pretended to care and abide by their desires, and brought her anyway. Housing, no worries, unless your dog is a barker.
Oh, Korea ain't like South Boca...not as snobby and rule-infested....yes, I know, home was Parkland/C. Springs...
Shoosh,

Hey, thanks for all the reassurance. My dog's about the same size as yours, but is traveling in a kennel -- so an inconsipicuous entrance might be a little more difficult to arrange. I'm not looking to bring the dog to work, just worried about the employer-provided housing. She's not a barker, so hopefully that's not going to be a problem either.
Thanks again,
Jennifer
BTW: Traded in to southboca digs (but not the e-mail) about a year ago for a dive in West Palm that's about an hour closer to the new job. Pluses: Less rules, low rent and a short drive. Minuses: Scarier neighbors and occasional crack baggies in the parking lot. Rumor has it that the new owners are planning to go Section 8. Anybody out there need an apartment? |
