| Yup. You can buy it OTC as well. Go to a pharmacy and ask for all-er-gee yak and tell them no sleeping.. with hand gestures.. haha... that's what I do because I don't really know what no sleeping is in Korean... that usually works. |

sleeping pills = 수면제
anti-histamine = 항히스타민제
To get the anti-histamine you need to see a dermatologist.
Go to 피부(derm-) 병원(clinic) |

Huh? The "sleeping pills" they sell here are an antihistamine. Doxysomething succinate, can't be bothered to look it up right now. |

But an allergy is not strictly a skin-only problem. My doctor prescribes loratadine for me and apparently that needs a prescription and anyway it makes you sleepy... but you can actually buy anti-histamine here otc. I tried it before. |

I never had any luck finding non-drowsy anti-histamine in Korea. The smiling dude behind the counter would always assure me that they were non-drowsy, then I'd spend the next day feeling like I had chronic fatigue.
Don't trust those morons, find yourself a good online pharmacy based in your home country and get them delivered to you. Alternatively, get a relative to ship some to you. |

Loratadine never made me sleepy. I never needed a prescription.
Print off whatever drugs you want from wikipedia and show it to your
pharmacist. Be careful that some marketing names vary in different
countries. Drug name X might be an antihistamine in one country
and birth control pills in another. Make sure you also have the generic
name to be safe. |
