http://quotation-marks.blogspot.com/

This blog brought something to my attention, aside from the "fact" that people use quotation marks unnecessarily. A lot of people think "homeade" is a word.

That reminds me of the Jim Hall messages on the police snitch board.

My email is very clear....it says, "have her contact me". For those of you that do not seem to understand what this means I will explain it to you. This means if you "have her contact me" you do not have to send me any of her "private information"....also, you do not have to violate any of your Korean Privacy Laws....are we clear?

Dear Friend,

I am trying to contact my friend Mesuk Ahn that once lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland and worked in Waldorf, Maryland in the USA. In January 2003 she returned to Korea and I lost contact with her. She was born October 17, 1977 and she is from Seoul, Korea. If there is "anything" you can do to help me find her please do so and I will be forever grateful. Please feel free to contact me....or "have her contact me" at:

It's been a while since he wrote anything. I wonder if he found her.

Putting things in quotation marks unnecessarily is the new all-caps.

Mmm, I could go for a nice, tall glass of refreshing homeade.

Tastes just like home.

Kwhitehead made a joke very similar to mine, something like "I'm reporting you all to the police, once I reunite Jim Hall and Meesuk Ahn." Apparently Jim Hall took it literally.
