Hello I am new here. I started teaching in Korea in March and for the most part love it. My question is My husband has joined me and he does not have his BA yet he is taking online classes from University of Phoenix. Where he will get his BA in Dec. 2008 my question where can we go to teach until he gets the BA. The other question is we are not young. In years I am 55 and he is 59 is it hared or even impossible for him to find work after he gets his BA

Once he has his BA, it will be easy.

It's not legally possible to teach for a foreigner with a BA in Korea.

I had a couple friends in the same situation but they both got jobs easily enough.

I'm sure you meant "without a BA in Korea."

Hi

My husband will join me here soon too, he has just finished serving with the UN peace keeping forces in Liberia and is a trained and experienced Police officer... however, he does not have a 4 year degree. Does anyone know how he could go about finding non-teaching jobs (or if its even possible) is there a website for other jobs? I see heaps of people in Itaewon who cannot possibly be English teachers (as they obviously arew not native-apeakers)... so there must be other jobs out there... HELP!

Thanks!
