Hi everyone

I remember someone on this forum had a number that should be dialed from a Korean landline in order to make a collect call to credit card companies in the U.S.

I cannot find the number to save my life... I remember it was something like 6 or 7 digits maybe...

Does anyone have it?

On the back of your card, it should have the number to dial. If not, you've got a strange credit card company.

You are in the net, do a search for the companies website. It'll be there.

There is a number that needs to be dialed BEFORE calling the overseas collect number on the back of the card...

that is the number I'm looking for!

If you want to get an operator to charge a collect call to anyone in the US, ie credit card company dial this number from Korea 00-729-11.
To get an operator in Canada call 00-722-015.

I think this is what you are looking for. The other numbers mentioned above will charge you. If you call these numbers you will get an operator, then give him/her the phone number of your credit card company. They will accept the charges. Done it many times.
