Does anyone have any tips on creating a good resume. I currently work at a public school and would like to make the move to a university. Therefore i am preparing my resume and would like to make it as professional as possible.
I know uni jobs can be hard to come by but even if i don't get one i'd like to make sure my resume is up to scratch.
If you have some tips please let me know. If you would like to see my existing resume i can send a message to you.
Many thanks. |

A professionally done colo(u)r passport photo with the right 'look' and one or more 'glowing' letters of recommendation from Korean 'bosses' written in Korean are probably just as, if not more, important than your resume for landing an interview. |

How about using oppenoffice or another program to create a pdf file.
EDIT: everyone can read pdf format easily too, docs are sometimes distorted when opened by programs other than Word.
I ain't got really impressive resume content, but it looks really good as a pdf file.
Make sure you use a good current, smiling picture and good contact numbers.
I keep a copy of mine at esnips, which I can give you a link to if you want? |
