YBM B2B places teachers in company classes for 35,000 won per hour.

Is their operation legal?
Does anyone have experience working for them?

It's all supply and demand.

I believe they do have contract and PT non-contract work for F-2s.

If you have an F-2 I believe you can legally work for them.

Also, if you're F-2, it's quite easy to find your own privates. There are other sites where you can muster up some extra work at higher rates.

I have an F2, and I wouldn't work for what they offer. I imagine some people do work for the peanuts that they pay.

Anyone know how much the companies are paying directly to YBM B2B? I figure its got to be around 70K per hour.

It's got to be more than 70k per hour.. think of the number of students

well I guess it also depends on where you're working.. I'm not sure if the students pay for the education

I know they put instructors in companies by samsung station and Asan hospital pretty often

I know an F2 who's dealing directly with a company. According to him, he gets paid 80k won per hour for a class of five.

I try to be a nice guy - sometimes.

I started editing and proofreading Thesi (/) for me fellow Korean uni teachers /.professors for free. Did it ever piss off the other foreign teachers. Why?

They have a lot of Seoul/Kyonggi stuff but do they have Busan jobs and other locations outside of Kyonggi-do as well?

35k is a joke. The company would be paying about 100k an hour for the teacher.

I did company gigs in the past and never less than 75k an hour(about 6-7 years ago).

It appears the company's in Seoul so guess not. But still for that money, transportation fees are nothing.

My F2 will be arriving in about 2 weeks, if anyone can point me in the right direction (via pm) for setting up some decent corporate gigs, I'll be in your eternal debt.

I do some private corporate teaching and 35 is a joke. I wouldn't even waste my time waking up to go to that. I'm earning 75,000 to 100,000 won an hour. 5 hours a week and it's good coin.
