Hi All.
I lived in Korea a few years ago. I used to go to the fast food shop Shinpo Woori Mandoo (not sure how to spell it in English). I remember seeing on their menu that there was one in New York somewhere. Just wondering if anyone knows details. I'm in New York for a week and would love to go.
Thanks. |

Koreatown would be the place to check.....
Though I have to warn you that for the same meal you pay a few won in Korea will run you about $20 here in the states
There's a cool mom and pop place there that sells mandu and kimbap at Korean prices (around $2.00 for a stick of Kimbap), I am not exactly sure what street its on though.... |

So this place is good? I see there are 7 in Suncheon. I haven't had quality mandu in a year. My favorite place is Myeongin Mandu, but they seem to only have them in Seoul and Gyeonggi. |

This Woori Mandu place, that is the place that sells the chicken teriyaki odaeng (that doesn't taste like teriyaki but is still good) for 5500 won?
There is one near my place, but they don't sell any drinks at all, they just give you water, always bring my own drinks with me. |
