hahahahahaha you lost to the French. I cant believe it that you choked again. That has to be the biggest sporting choke of all time. I am an English rugby fan and I am ecstatic about todays results.
You Kiwis are so so cokky when it comes to Rugby. Its fantastic to see you humbled. You deserve it. Gutted and up yours!!!! |

Yes, we lost. I am gutted, but we played badly and didn't deserve to win. The French played better than us, and they did deserve to win. More credit to them.
But talk about bad winners - I have rarely seen anyone (except for Australians) win with such bad grace other than Poms. And as for choking, at least we are good enough that we are expected to win every time we run onto the paddock (and do win most of the time). That's a situation that the Poms have never had to struggle with. Not even close |

Ive met a few Kiwi Rugby fans in person and I have long been sick of all the were the best in the worldtalk. You guys are arrogant arrogant arrogant when it comes to Rugby.
You personally might be a good sport but other Kiwi fans are not. They crow when they win and complain that something was unfair when they lose, like the ref was bad, or (against South Africa) the altitude was too high or something.
The All Blacks are so arrogant that they dont even play there best XV most of the time against the northern hemisphere teams.
Thats why Im so delighted that you choked again on the big occasion. HAHAHAH! In my opinion you thoroughly deserve it. |

I watched the interview with McCaw. That man was gutted. It looked like he lost a family member and then he was asked by an idiot reporter to comment about it seconds after it happened. I felt sorry for him as I do for the whole Kiwi team.
I am very happy for the French though. They played an amazing game of rugby and they used the ball possesion they had to put points on the board. To win a game with only 29% of the ball possesion says a lot. They made 178 out of 197 tackles in the game. They made only 3 handling errors while the Kiwi's made 10.
I agree with Sleepy in Seoul. The French played a better game on the day. |

God it must be tough being from a nation that is so pissant in its insignificance that you constantly must belittle a neighboring country, without whose indulgence, you would most likely cease to exist. Koreans of the south seas.
Well played England and France. I won't comment on the ABs, but the Wallabies did not deserve to win. |

Have you actually listened to Australians crowing? Take a moment and do that. I'll have a good listen to other Kiwis too Maybe we'll both be embarrassed. |

The haka at the first sight is impressive but it has been overdone. Any major public event in NZ and the haka gets half the coverage time.
On the other hand, I noticed that it is one of the few aspects of Maori culture that the non-Maori population has embraced, and that probably has a lot to do with the All Blacks. |

Sleepy, I have far far more respect for Australians than I do for Kiwis. When the Aussies lost the Ashes a couple of years ago they were very gracious in defeat. They could have moaned about poor umpiring decisions (they were very unlucky with the flick off the glove at the end of the second test), but they didnt. Their sportsmanship was excellent, they played hard but fair and didnt winge at all.
Compare this to New Zealand who as soon as they lose, moan about decisions that didnt go their way (the forward pass).
New Zealand might go on to dominate the world of Rugby for a long time and win many World Cups. But you will never earn peoples respect unless you change your attitude.
You can start by stopping bragging that youre the best, and fielding your best XV in every game, they obviously need some more playing time together. |

And Im not going to take stick from any Aussies on this one. Having met some real Kiwi Rugby fans, I much prefer you guys to them. Im on your side!
In Rugby Union at least I will be supporting Oz against the All Blacks every time from now on.
Oh I cant believe this, I was convinced that the All Blacks would win the trophy easily. They put 80 odd points past France last time they played didnt they? What a choke!
Im delighted, absolutely delighted. |

Was definatly a day full of upsets!
How could Australia lose to that awful England team and its a bit hard to say that france had home(?) ground advantage over the Kiwi's
Only a 2 point difference between the teams in BOTH games!
Ironic that most bookies still favour Argentina to win the cup over England and they aren't even in the semi's yet.
One can never accuse England of choking, they set the bar too low for that to happen |
