I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Rush. I love Geddy Lee's wild metallic voice. An excellent 70s metal voice.

There's not much of them on youtube, but I found these old numbers:

2112 (part 1) - Rush

2112 (part 2) - Rush

Tom Sawyer - Rush

GBS? really? UP and Play were the soundtrack to my uni years, but they're not even getting much airtime in Newfoundland these days. They do put on a great show though

The 'slam' was who posted it. After all the death metal and what not I somehow doubt our friend Wo was like, "Hey, check this out, this dude is cool" but perhaps.

Ah yes, showing your ignorance regarding music again. I think I made one post where I said Entombed's first two albums are good death metal, besides that, when do I listen to or tout death metal? I don't really need to state the obvious, but you truly are an idiot if you think I don't listen to/like other genres of music.

This is what mumsy would call "libel". Be careful with all of these false accusations of yours, pal.

54 40

Change of Heart

Odds

Watchmen

The Lowest of the Low

Crash Test Dummies

Salmonblaster

Gordon Lightfoot

Treble Charger

North of America

All great! All worth checking out if you don't listen to them already!!

The Nihilist Spasm Band!

Together for 42 years and counting. Really one of a kind, in London, Ontario!

Quote:
The band currently plays most every Monday night at The Forest City Gallery, 258 Richmond St. just south of under pass in London, Ontario, Canada. The atmosphere is informal. We play for our own enjoyment but an audience is welcome.
