We stayed over at a love motel in a small town Saturday night as I was doing a bike race the next day. As do many love motels, this place had a 24-7 porn channel.

In most ways, it was typical porn... weak to no plot, bad acting, women with ugly faces and hot bodies making lots of fake sex noises,... and it showed them doing it in all positions and all ways. You could clearly see everything EXCEPT the genitals.

I dont understand this. I mean, porn may or may not be harmful, immoral, wrong, whatever... .but if you're going to show all of the forest, anyway, why not also show the cave and the tall tree?

You make a good point- why indeed? There doesn't seem to be any logical reason for it. But while there may not be a logical reason for it, you can bet there's a a K-logic reason for it.

It's because of K-logic that I don't ask 'why' questions in Korea anymore.

I remember seeing some busty Asian porn on the internet once. Not only did they blur the genitals, but they also beeped out a swear word from the guy who was doing some dirty talking. I don't understand it.

There must be some law in Asia about not showing the genital region. It's funny; almost every other week that I've been here, they've shown this Italian soft-core porn movie on TV called "Miranda". They might as well blur the whole movie out; I don't know why they even bother having it on TV.
