Does anyone have access to any government stats that can tell us how many Kiwis are granted an E2 visa each year? Is the number rising or dropping?
Any causal observations of numbers of NZers in Korea? |

You Kiwi's are a strange old bunch, you all seem to know each other or know somebody because they have done the walk of shame or whatever it is called where the TV cameras get you walking home in the morning after your one night stand. |

That's the one, I think.
Went out on the piss years ago with a girl who had been on it at some point, lots of Kiwi's that she had never met before but had met up to watch rugby in Itaewon the majority of them knew her and her friend who had both been on at separate occasions.
Then she met my flatmate who she knew of through a friend of a friend of a sheep or something like that. Flatmate turns out knows her fathers mothers rooster.

Meeting people like that ("I know you through...") happens to me on a daily basis. It's nice.
Soo..... any word on the stats? |

You may have to email/phone the NZ embassy here for those stats..or the embassy back home...ps: I dont think there are enough of us kiwis here! We have a great rep worldwide as teachers because most kiwis dont complain (the 'she'll be right' attitude) and just get on with the job!
There are 3 kiwis on EPIK here in Gangwondo |

cheers man. the NZ embassy could only direct me to www.immigration.go.kr which seems pretty odd, that the embassy doesn't keep any stats on this. Anyway it's in Korean so I'm in the process of getting someone to translate for me ......anyone bored right now by the way? I'll give you a prize.
I also have this site http://www.kosis.kr/ but again can't translate it so far. |

I'm a Brit/Kiwi on an F2 too. I don't think old-timers like us make much of a dent in the statistics though! |
